Make a ISO file in Linux :

 

Some times you need quickly need a ISO file on your XEN Server so here a short description to make a ISO file from the command line.

  • Place the CD in the player.
  • Use the Linux command dd to create a ISO file : 
    dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/opt/xenserver/packages/iso/MIJNISO.ISO
